Chinese name?

I would like to use as a nickname my name ,Violet , in chinese but i don’t like transliterations, I prefer to use the meaning of the word, the flower not the colour. I think that hua signifies flower but i don´t know if there is a specific word for violet and if it can be used as a girls name.
Thank you in avance.

Yes, hua is flower, but zi se is purple and not a good name. The only way to say violet in Chinese is 紫罗兰 zi luo lan.

I suggest using the name Ding Xiang (ding shee-ang) this is a girls name in China, it is Chinese for Lilac.

    丁香 Ding Xiang

    You could also use
    紫香 Zi Xiang (purple fragrance/incense)
Zi is pronounced like “tz-u” in “fits a”.

In chinese, the colour Violet (purple) is 紫 (zi)
The flower Violet also includes the above characters : 紫罗兰 (zi luo lan).
But it will looks strange for a name…
Maybe 紫兰, as 兰 is often used in names.
