I go to a school where there are many different ethnicitys and there are no chinese girls in the school but many half asian half whites. Well I see none of the chinese guys dating a girl at all. I see many half asians dating many guys/girls. And I wondered if girls like asian guys preferably chinese guys. im a young asian man (22yrs) who’s always been interested in dating a latina. most of my ex’s has been some sort of asian excluding my last one which was half cambodian and puerto rican lasted about 2 and half years. but ive always loved pure latinas but never knew how they percieve asian guys.

im not an ugly guy either. not a nerd, although i am in college. pretty athletic. dont have chinky eyes ( there more to asians than japanese and chinese and im neither of those 2.) cambodian to exact.

im not here for online dating juss curious so i can go out there and do some real world pimp game. haha no but foreals tho im curious.

I had watched it on some Asian channel a long time ago, but I can’t find any information about it anywhere anymore. I remember a few of the characters being named something along the lines of “Fandom” and “Mandom”. I also recall a scene where one character claims he can block any attack, and encourages his friend to attempt to stab him with a real knife (and fails to block it, with more attempts to follow). I understand it may be extremely vague, but any assistance will be welcome. Thanks!

I myself am a Chinese/Irish- America and I do have prominent asian features, today I met my husbands cousin. Now my husband is a sweet man but LuAnne is one person I can’t say the same for. The first thing Luanne said to John was “Is she one a’ those mail order brides you get of the internet?” John just laughed it off, but I could tell he was starting to get uncomfortable. Through out the evening LuAnne had asked me “Where are you from?” Like she was assumes I am not REALLY from New York I said I was from New York and then proceeded to ask “No, where are you REALLY from?” I then told her I was born in Lenox Hill Hospital, to aviod any further questions of this nature of told her myfate hrr was born in China and my father was born in New York. Every time I see her it is the same routine, where are your from, what is China like, how do you say hello in your language, and such. But what really got me going this time is she called me fat for and “asian”. I am 24 and a half weeks pregnant, of course I am a bit .. large. How do I explain to her that I am an American, and I do not feel comfortable discussing this like this?
She also asks me why my name doesn’t “sound english”.

Seriously, there are mail order brides all over the web from Asia, Russia, etc, but not ONE site for mail order husbands. I’m all for a sexy little Chinese husband but noooo, no sites for them. It’s sexist I tell ya!

Jokes aside, why is that? Why do men from impoverished countries not advertise for wealthy wives like the women do for husbands?
I’m not really serious about wanting a mail order husband. I just saw a movie called Mail Order Bride and out of curiosity, went to Googling for mail order husband and realized such a thing does not seem to exist.
