    I think so. Divorce was illegal for a long time it was feminists who lobbied for it. Divorce is set up for women imo.

    I see more and more women proposing to men and less and less men proposing. Also I see a lot of anti-marriage websites and blogs out there for men.

    1 of 5 Olympics Gallery BEIJING (AP)—The United States said Sunday it was disappointed the Olympics had not brought more “openness and tolerance” in China and pressed for the immediate release of eight American protesters as the games ended.

    The New York-based group Students for a Free Tibet said the eight Americans were deported during the Olympics closing ceremony Sunday but there was no immediate confirmation from U.S. or Chinese officials.

    The blunt U.S. criticism—and China’s harsher treatment of foreign activists—came at the end of 17 days of Olympic competition that generally went smoothly for Chinese organizers who had been nervous about security and protests.

    No rallies were held throughout the entire Olympics in three parks designated as protest zones after Chinese officials declined to issue permits to 77 applicants, and detained some of them. But mostly foreign activists staged a series of small illegal demonstrations near Olympic venues and at Beijing landmarks.

    The foreigners, for the most part, unveiled “Free Tibet” banners before being seized by security officials, hustled into cars and taken away to be put on flights out of China.

    A handful journalists trying to cover the protests were roughed up by authorities then released. There were also tensions with the media over China restricting access to the Internet.

    Their country. Their rules. I think some Americans seem to forget that when they leave CONUS, and visit a foreign country, what’s considered minor at home isn’t so minor overseas. Especially in a Communist Society.
    I bet the people of Tibet would beg to differ. Contrary to your idea.
    All isn’t well here in the United States of America either.

    how much more often do you see Chinese female and White male couples than Chinese males and White females?

    In America or some other English speaking countries where Chinese immigrant exist in large numbers, how much more often do you see Chinese females dating White males than Chinese males dating White women?
    Just give a number, for example, when you are shopping, you see interracial couples, how many Chinese woman and White man couples do you have to encounter until you meet with a Chinese man and White woman couple?

        Why are chinese girls more likely to interracially date than indian girls?

        Both indian and chinese cultures have fairly similar values. Yet, you see many more chinese girls with white/non-chinese guys than you do see indian girls with white/non-indo pakistani guys. Why?

        I mean for me its great because I find it easier to get a date with pretty indian girl because they like to stick to their own kind and it’s a win situation for me. But many of my chinese male friends always whine about how their girls would rather sleep with white guys than them.

        Wealthy men give women more orgasms

        Scientists have found that the pleasure women get from making love is directly linked to the size of their partner’s bank balance.

        They found that the wealthier a man is, the more frequently his partner has orgasms.

        “Women’s orgasm frequency increases with the income of their partner,” said Dr Thomas Pollet, the Newcastle University psychologist behind the research.

        He believes the phenomenon is an “evolutionary adaptation” that is hard-wired into women, driving them to select men on the basis of their perceived quality.

        The study is certain to prove controversial, suggesting that women are inherently programmed to be gold-diggers.

        However, it fits into a wider body of research known as evolutionary psychology which suggests that both men and women are genetically predisposed to ruthlessly exploit each other to achieve the best chances of survival for their genes.

        The female orgasm is the focus of much research because it appears to have no reproductive purpose. Women can become pregnant whatever their pleasure levels.

        Pollet, and Professor Daniel Nettle, his co-author, believed, however, that the female orgasm is an evolutionary adaptation that drives women to choose and retain high-quality partners.

        He and Nettle tested that idea using data gathered in one of the world’s biggest lifestyle studies. The Chinese Health and Family Life Survey targeted 5,000 people across China for in-depth interviews about their personal lives, including questions about their sex lives, income and other factors. Among these were 1,534 women with male partners whose data was the basis for the study.

        They found that 121 of these women always had orgasms during sex, while 408 more had them “often”. Another 762 “sometimes” orgasmed while 243 had them rarely or never. Such figures are similar to those for western countries.

        There were of course, several factors involved in such differences but, said Pollet, money was one of the main ones.

        He said: “Increasing partner income had a highly positive effect on women’s self-reported frequency of orgasm. More desirable mates cause women to experience more orgasms.”

        This is not an effect limited to Chinese women. Previous research in Germany and America has looked at attributes such as body symmetry and attractiveness, finding that these are also linked with orgasm frequency. Money, however, seems even more important.

        David Buss, professor of psychology at the University of Texas, Austin, who raised this question in his book The Evolution of Desire believes female orgasms have several possible purposes.

        “They could promote emotional bonding with a high-quality male or they could serve as a signal that women are highly sexually satisfied, and hence unlikely to seek sex with other men,” he said. “What those orgasms are saying is ‘I’m extremely loyal, so you should invest in me and my children’.”
